The following is a general list and description of events and/or projects specific to PK3.  Changes may occur due to weather, etc. 

Spaghetti Dinner and Auction PK 3 Class Project
Every year the PK3 room coordinators work with students and staff to prepare and submit the class auction project.  PK3's class project tradition is to create a beautiful ceramic popcorn bowl.  The bowl will be displayed prior to the Spaghetti Dinner and auction. Parents will be able to bid online to win the bowl and take this beautiful momento home to keep.  The Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction is scheduled to take place on Friday, 10/04/19 from 6-9pm in the gym and cafeteria. 

Halloween Party
PreK celebrates Halloween with a wonderful Halloween costume party that takes place in the gym on 10/31/19.  PreK parents decorate the gym, provide fun games and music for the children to play and celebrate Halloween.  The PreK parents also supply candy for the trick or treaters to take home.  The children are also traditionally served lunch in the gym during their normal lunch time.  Parents who have completed SAFE HAVEN training are welcome to attend or help volunteer.  It is a wonderful party and the children cherish. 

Christmas Party
Each grade celebrates Christmas on the last day of school before the Christmas Break, 12/20/19.  PK3 room coordinators organize the event and games. All parents who have completed SAFE HAVEN training are welcome to attend.  The party traditionally takes place either in the classroom or just outside depending on activities and weather.  

PreK Family Picnic
PreK families join in the field for a casual picnic with their children.  Parents may bring a blanket and lunch to enjoy with their child.  The picnic is a wonderful time to relax and to get to know the other parents. This event is scheduled to take place on Friday, 03/06/20 during lunch time.

Easter Egg Hunt
The Tuesday after Easter, 04/14/20, our PreK students enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt at school.  The pre-filled eggs are provided by parents and the PreK room coordinators assist teachers in hiding the eggs on the morning of the egg hunt.  

End of Year Party
The PK3 Room Coordinators organize and host an amazing end of year party for the students.  All parents who have completed SAFE HAVEN training are welcome to attend.  The party takes place on the very last day of school 05/29/20.  Traditionally the PK3 party is located in the classroom our just outside the room.
