Ms. Katherine Grace Rice is ecstatic to be teaching kindergarten at St. Francis de Sales! She feels that it is such a special place where children can grow up in a caring, loving environment enriched by the Catholic faith. Ms. Rice herself attended Sacred Heart Catholic School in Conroe, and that instilled in her the desire to work in Catholic education. There is nothing like it!

Ms. Rice attended Loyola University New Orleans where she received her bachelor’s in Philosophy with a minor in English and then received her master of education degree from the University of Houston in tandem with her Texas teaching certification. 

Ms. Rice returns home to Conroe often to visit her parents and little brothers. She enjoys baking, growing orchids, and spending time with her quirky black cat, Sharon. She loves kindergarten and is so thankful she gets to spend her time helping kids learn and grow!
